Comprehensive chess training tools designed to help players of all levels analyze games, practice tactics, and develop winning strategies.
Most puzzle trainers give you random positions. Caissablanca analyzes your actual Chess.com and Lichess games to find the moments where you went wrong — then turns them into puzzles you can solve again and again.
Three steps to personalized training
Ask Caissa AI anything about your chess games. The more detail you give, the better the answer. Here are just a few examples.
"What opening is black playing?" — Ask about any position and Caissa AI breaks down the opening, pawn structures, and key ideas behind the moves.

We evaluate every release against 230 test positions before it ships — and publish the numbers. Here's the July 2026 evaluation.
Every move the coach mentions is replayed against the engine before the answer ships. Zero illegal moves reached a user in testing.
Every “wins a piece” or “loses material” claim is checked with exchange evaluation. Unverified claims are rejected and rewritten.
Stockfish finds the best move; Caissa explains it. In every answered test position, the coach relayed the engine's verified move faithfully.
Score from an independent AI grader across the full suite — including 30 adversarial positions designed to bait wrong answers.
Grader score for sticking to what the analysis actually shows, instead of inventing plans or tactics from memory.
Grader score for whether answers actually help you improve — not just whether they're technically correct.
Methodology: 200 real Lichess puzzle positions plus 30 adversarial cases, evaluated July 2026 with deterministic engine verification (legality, material) and an independent AI grader (accuracy, unsupported claims, helpfulness). Caissa doesn't play chess from memory — Stockfish does the chess thinking, and these numbers measure how faithfully Caissa explains it. Read how we measure.

The free tier ensures everyone can benefit from chess analysis, and Pro pricing simply helps us sustain the service.
Our Stockfish engine supports ELO ratings from 400 to 2800, making it suitable for complete beginners to advanced players. You can adjust the difficulty to match your current level or challenge yourself against stronger opponents.
Simply navigate to the Analyze section and use the Chess.com integration to fetch your recent games. You can also manually paste PGN notation or FEN positions for any game you want to analyze.
When you connect your Chess.com or Lichess account, we analyze your games with Stockfish to find positions where you made mistakes or missed tactics. These positions are turned into puzzles that you can solve repeatedly, so your training targets your actual weaknesses instead of random positions.
A Chess.com or Lichess account is needed for personalized puzzle generation, since the puzzles are built from your game history. However, you can still use Caissablanca to play against Stockfish, analyze positions via FEN/PGN, and chat with Caissa AI without one.
Caissablanca generates puzzles from your own games — not random positions — so every puzzle you solve targets a real weakness. Combined with Stockfish analysis and Caissa AI that explains moves in plain language, it's the most personalized chess training experience available.
Caissa AI doesn't play chess from memory — Stockfish does the chess thinking, and Caissa explains it. Before any answer reaches you, automated validators replay every move it mentions and verify every attack, pin, and material claim against the engine; answers that fail are rejected and rewritten. In our July 2026 evaluation across 230 test positions: 100% of answers passed the legality and material-claim checks, Caissa relayed the engine's verified best move in every position it answered (that number measures faithful relay of Stockfish's analysis — the engine does the chess), and an independent AI grader scored it 0.99 for accuracy, 0.97 for avoiding unsupported claims, and 0.93 for helpfulness — including on 30 adversarial positions designed to bait wrong answers. Like any AI, it can still misjudge open-ended questions, so if something looks off, use the feedback button and we'll trace exactly what happened.
